Tour Down Under

The Lateral Linking optical fibre receive system was successfully trialed on this years' "Tour Down Under" stage 5 Adelaide street circuit. The additional receive sites ensured more of the heavily treed track was able to be covered without breakup. With low cloud and rain keeping the helicopters away from the circuit a lot of the time, the ground based receive system still allowed the exciting bike camera shots to extensively used in the television coverage.
